Three weeks post op vlog update

Technically, three weeks is tomorrow but I am starting a new job-which I am not sure if I’ve mentioned here. It is only 1.5-3 days per month. It’s for an audiologist that comes in to town from Reno. I’ll be their office person for when they’re here- checking patients in and out and cleaning hearing aids, answering the phone, trasmiting info to the home office, that kind of thing. So anyway, I’ll be busy tomorrow so got this done today!

Vlog: 2 weeks post-op

Recovering

My surgery went very well. Everything went as planned and I think I’m going to have great results. I will have more to say on it later, but right now I’m super loopy from the Percocet so it probably won’t make much sense, so I’ll save it for when I’m more coherent. For now, here’s a couple videos.

The first one, I had Tim take yesterday, which was the day after surgery. I meant to take one the day of surgery but I was so out of it and tired that I forgot and just slept most of the day. Turn your volume waaay up for this, it’s really really quiet. I couldn’t get a good full deep breath to project my voice yesterday because it hurt.

And now here’s one from today, I think it’s a bit louder so turn your volume back down a bit.

So overall, I am doing much better than I thought I would today. Last night was a bit rough. On the “too much info” front, Percocet tends to be constipating. And the bloating from that really hurts against the tummy tuck incision… so. Yeah. I wasn’t too comfy last night but I finally did fall asleep and slept well and woke up this morning feeling pretty darn good!

First vlog- Plastic Surgery video #1

In all my research about plastic surgery, I have come across a few users on YouTube that documented throughout the process.  I think that is so cool!  I mean, it’s one thing to just read what to expect after surgery but it’s so much more informative for me to actually see the process firsthand.  So, I thought to myself- I am going to do that!  I am going to vlog my way through this, starting today with a video on my reasons for getting the plastic surgery done.  I will continue, probably with another pre-op video with my feelings right before the surgery, how I feel immediately after, and even more in the weeks following the surgery.  My hope is that it will help other women who are thinking about the “mommy makeover” know exactly what to expect, from how nervous I am before, to how sore and tired I am after, to how my scars are healing as time passes, and ultimately, how pleased I am with the results once I’m all healed up.

Oh- I tried really hard to talk loud but it still wound up being pretty quiet. Adjust your volume accordingly and I will figure out how to make it better for next time. :) Enjoy!

One more thing: This video does have a belly reveal. So. Don’t be eating or anything while you watch.  You’ve been warned.
