Quickie video update on how I’m doing ten months after my mommy makeover.

Twelve weeks post-op today! Thought I’d do a video in honor of that. Plus, I haven’t done a video in a long time so I figured I could let you all hear my voice again. You’re welcome.

WOW I cannot believe it’s already been four weeks since my surgery! Time is flying by, which is amazing considering that I basically just sit around and do nothing all day. Haha! Hey, I’m supposed to “take it easy”, I just had surgery. Four weeks ago. Ok, I guess that excuse may be past its prime.

Anyway. Yesterday, I had my first doctor’s visit since the day after surgery. It went well! She said I’m healing up nicely. I do have two little open spots on my incision but she says they will heal up on their own. They’re very small- a Band-Aid fits over each one. I don’t have to wear my binder around the clock anymore, which is a HUGE yay!! And I get to wear real bras now!

Which brings me to my next point. GRR. Living in a small town really really sucks sometimes. The only place in town that we have for bra shopping is Wal-Mart. Which… yeah. Really crappy selection, especially in 38DD. I had to settle and get 40D’s. They had like 2 in 38DD and they were both super weird and hideous and just no. So I wound up with two boring plain old full coverage granny bras. I want a nice plunge or demi bra! I need to make a trip to Victoria’s secret, I think. Soon.

So anyway, here is a video. I have on one of my new bras, so my boobs are about 10 feet apart. It’s just weird. Also, I do show my incisions at the end- both my abdominal one and the ones under my boobs.
